Anchors
Single point tie off points are the most commonly used apparatus that allows workers to safely approach and work at and over roofs edge. The responsibility to provide protection for workers ultimately falls on the building owner. Every anchor installed by GRASP Safety Services is subjected to an engineer review and initial load test to ensure proper installation as per codes and regulations.
CSA Z91-02 “all anchor systems shall be inspected and load tested by a professional engineer, or a qualified person under the supervision of a professional engineer prior to being put into service to ensure compliance with this standard”
Spun aluminum flashings c/w rubber grommets are available for both conventional & inverted asphalt based roofing systems.

Benefits
Line Stops
A line stop is used in order to prevent a workers safety line from slipping around the edge of a building or balcony where the result would cause the worker to suffer a swing fall/vertical fall of five foot (5’) or more. Line stops can be installed as a roof mounted line stop, or parapet mounted line stop, where parapet and/or building structure permits.
For roof mounted applications, spun aluminum flashings c/w rubber grommets are available for both conventional & inverted asphalt based roofing systems.
Benefits
Rigging Sleeves
In certain instances, such as over hangs, the most efficient means of allowing workers to maintain a proper distance from the buildings face/facade while working from a swing stage is to install rigging sleeves. Installation begins by coring a hole through the concrete slab and inserting a rigging sleeve. The rigging sleeve allows for both primary lines as well as safety lines to pass through keeping the workers on the swing stage at a maximum two foot reach allowing them to properly complete their tasks.
